Tram No.5. 2006.
Nomad Video intervention “site specific”, an insertion of Nomad LOAD section 2006 _Bucharest as component of the events cycle NOMAD, organized by Meta Cultural Foundation [video intervention projects site-specific, in eccentric geographical and cultural spaces].

The TRAM N5 is the street railway with the longest time for waiting to come, for something special to happen, just like everyone seems to do (especially when they’re wasting precious time looking for it). The route of 5’s was picked out especially for this intervention, since it is one of the best known route in the city, and mostly because, if you go by tram no.5, you’ll be crossing the city, cutting it almost in half, thus giving you the chance to experiment and see the everyday Bucharest’s life. If you take the time, the spectacle of the city is unfolding in front of your eyes. So, while traveling by tram, you meet the human complexity of Lunatic Street, the fashionable style of Banana Street ending with the cosmopolite air of Baneasa Airport station. The video has been projected in loop on the buildings’ walls surrounding the tram station.
